I will be picking up a Rem 700 SPS in .223. 20" barrel 1/9 twist.

I know that 168/175 - Fed 210M- XX.X grains reloader 15 are the fail safe go to mats for making some great .308 rounds.

What would be the same great base line to making some .223 rounds?
Thanks

Re: Go to load for a .223 bolt gun

I was running 26grs RL-15 with NBTs and Win brass out of my SPS before I traded it off. It's also the same load I use in my RRA 24" varminter and my .223AI loves the same load fire forming.

I run the 75 hornady bthp match with rem 7.5 primers, imr 8208( I started at starting load and am somewhere near max load at this point) in win brass. This has proven to be very accurate out of my xcr compact tactical. Good luck
