Everything went perfect, checked the headspace, the barrel seated perfectly, timed and properly torqued the barrel nut to specs with a torque wrench, used my PRI gas block tool and properly pinned the gas tube, and then these ugly way too long gas block sets screws came out of the Badger mk12 gas block, I dont mind the melonited mk12 gas block, but the bright stainless set screws yuck, one sets a little lower on the dimple still not flush they just dont look right, have to find replacement set screws

Pretty easy to find shorter black set screws in the hardware department of Lowe’s or Home Depot. You could trim the stainless ones as long as the socket doesn’t become too shallow.

Thanks thats probably what I will do, I put some off a low pro gas block I had laying around, now its 2 holes they are half the size of the ones it came with, you would think if its marketed as a milspec MK12 gas block they would size it correctly to the barrel, considering Im paying $65 for a standard non adjustable gas block
