Doc's Reloading 101 and 202 sections at the top, are great resources. Reloading mauals are also a must. Get 2 or 3 from the majors.

Read first, then reread a few times.

Re: gonna finally start reloading

I started with the LEE Annivesarry (sorry, bourbon)kit for about $100. If you're starting out, theres most of the sruff you need, minus dies and cartreidge components. I found that I acquire the luxury stuff over time, and cheat until I can afford them; like a powder trickler for expamle - I used a clear BIC pen tube for so long that that's all I stull use. Drops single kernels of H335 with no problem.

You can pick out the good stuff and buy it at a later time. I just bought a RCBS 502 scale after many years of ysing the crappy LEE scale, only to test the LEE scale with check weights and found out it was right on. My $.p2 anyways.

Re: gonna finally start reloading

You said several calibers, are any of them pistol? Is this pistol high volume? If so I would look at a progressive, otherwise get the single stage starter kit of your favorite color(brand). I say start cheap with lee, but you will probably get a lot of recommendations for RCBS, because they are built like a tank, but they are also more expensive to start with especially if you are not sure how much you will reload.

sigh,
I am usually quite patient, but this question has been asked 2 times yesterday and 3 threads as of yesterday in the first two pages on beginning reloading.

As above, read, read, and read some more.

All of the above information should be helpful.

The search on here is kinda spotty, use this to search the Hide:
