any book recommendations on shooting that have a lot of good information. this site is great but i like to have written info also. something that has a lot of basic stand by info and some more intermediate/advance stuff. don't need a "How to be a Sniper" book but more tactical shooting. different shooting positions, reading/calculating Mils and MOA reticles, reading wind and the such. already did a search using the word books and nothing came up that i read that really helped. thanks.

Re: Good Books

MAJ John Plaster's "Advanced Ultimate Sniper" provides encyclopedic coverage of the field.

Then there are these
<ul style="list-style-type: disc">[*]FM 3-22.10 (FM 23.10) <span style="font-style: italic">SNIPER TRAINING AND OPERATIONS</span> (US Army Manual);[*]FM 3-05.222 <span style="font-style: italic">Special Forces Sniper Training and Employment</span>;[*]MCWP 3-15.3 <span style="font-style: italic">Sniping</span> (USMC Manual).[/list]

Then there's a ton of resources and books on the Web.
