Several days ago, visited Midway website and noticed an ad banner on opening screen about reduced prices on Weaver Scopes. Own a couple of Super Slams and really like them. Anyway checked the Weaver's onsale at Midway found $200 off on the 4-20x50 dual X reticle scope. Price was $440 with free shipping. Curious, checked other internet scope sellers such as SWFA, Optics Planet, Amazon, Natchez for price on this scope. Natchez was closest in price with theirs being $580 and Natchez will add another $15 or so for shipping. Rest were considerably higher in price.
So happens, Weaver has a $100 rebate on the scope.....so, my final cost is $340. Not bad. Couldn't resist buying it.
FWIW, I've had my 7x57 Ruger with my 4-20x50 Super Slam on our 600 yd range. Scope elevation adjustment handled that distance easily.
