Hey guys, could someone point me in the right direction for some good reloading info for my Armalite AR10? Im just getting into realoading and did my first 50 rounds the other day. I havent shot them yet though. I think I am going to start using 168 grain, because i have heard a lot of good about them and the avalaibilty is great. So I think im going to stick with them and start learning and practicing so i can get better for long range shots. So, any good writeups on 308 168 grain rounds for my rifle? Like type of powder or tricks to help make the gun more accurate with a certain load? I dunno... any good info so i can learn more about my gun? It is a AR 10T 20" barrel and a bushnell 6500 elite 4.5-30x scope. thanks for the help guys!

Oh and do you have to crimp the bullets for an AR 10? my friend doesnt on his rem 700... and we didnt have a way to do it so i havent crimped them yet. thanks

Yep, it's a reloading section issue, but 42.5 grains of IMR 4064
168 gr. Nosler Comp. or any good HPBT will get you really close. Working up in .2 or .3 increments to 43.5. Expect 1/2 MOA in there somewhere. OAL to fit the mag.

Hey I did my first 50rounds the other day with some free powder that my dad had gave me... it was I'm 4350 I'm pretty sure. The book said 46 grains and that the case was 101% full... that was with 168 grain hornady hpbt. Do you think that would work for now or should I not run that at all? Thanks... oh and what is OAL?
