Goodbye to "This Week"

Please remember the no politics rule when responding.

ABC's "This Week" used to have a segment at the end of their show wherein they listed the US men and women killed in combat. When Christiane Amanpour took over, they were still doing the segment, but she added the wording to include "all of those who lost their lives in combat".
When the congresswoman in AZ was shot the segment was suspended.
Then there was Egypt, Japan, Libya... and they always seem to be too busy to spend a few seconds on the memorials.

Here is what I just sent to ABC News.

"After years of devoted viewership, I have decided to delete "This Week" from my DVR's Todo list.
The reason I do this is because the program no longer seems it's important to devote a few seconds to listing the names of the US service men and women killed in combat.
I would make it a point to read each name and hometown each week with great reverence. There will always be important stories, but none are more important to me than these lives.
Goodbye"

Re: Goodbye to "This Week"

I've talked to a few folks who've done PA downrange, and have met Ms Amanpour. Those who've met her said she's not a very nice person, face to face.
