Picked her up last night, and took her out today for some break in. Defiance, Bartlein Chambered in .308 and finished at 26” by Nomad Precision in Kentucky, Manners PRS, Trigger Tech, PVA Jet Blast Brake, NX8 F1.
First outing is looking bodacious on how this thing is gonna shoot with just, what I call a Bastard load that is just loosely loaded with charges ranging anywhere from .4 to .9 different, virgin brass and unknown distance from lands.
I’m really impressed with the PVA Brake. Rig, with empty mag weighs 14.6 lbs and it shoots like a kitten. I’ve always ran APA’s in the past, and have one on my other rifle, but the PVA is right there with it, and I don’t get the blowback like I do from the APA.
Get some more rounds through it tomorrow then introduce it to the 175 SMK’s and see how the 10 twist will throw em.
