I went up there mainly due to a new 6.5-20x pst that the glue on the L/R turret came loose on after 120 rounds of my Armalite AR-10. I was up home visiting in northeastern Iowa; so it was only like a 100 mile trip. They offered to try to rush it back/forth Fed-Ex free to me; but figured since it's been so cold why not just run up there. I'll post pictures after I get them downloaded from my Mom's camera; she played navigator for me.

They had it re-gassed and even zero bubble remounted on my gun for me before we left.. cost $0.00! Great folks up there and can't say enough good things.:D

I looked thru the HD gen 2 1-6x and I can honestly say the clearest scope I've looked thru.. I go regularly up to Bass-Pro in Kansas City n look thru what they have on hand to compare. Looking thru it, it was hard to even see the outside of the scope; you know the black edge of the outside of the scope. It was blustery and blowing snow; and things that were fuzzy to the naked eye were crystal clear thru it. I will probably end up getting it for my AR-15 that has no scope currently.

Once it warms up... monday -35 below zero... I'll get back to the range

Armalite AR-10
Armalite 2 piece quad rail
Atlas Bipod w/ Larue mount
Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50 in 20 moa Laure mount

Hope to one day get the chance to learn/shoot out to 1,000 yards with it. Until then.... Midwest Coyotes beware! :)

future mods to gun will include muzzle brake.... gun jumps bad with stock flash suppressor on it; and probably a BCM Gunfighter charging handle. If you guys have any advise on those two mods please post up and let me know. Thanks
