Gotta love Magpul!

I have read several articles where people have had charges dropped or cases reversed after their attorneys argued that the lower of the AR is not a gun/weapon under the government's rules.
These were NOT attorneys from the NRA. Why? Why haven't they been leading in the hearts and minds campaign? Calling bullshit on the campaign to slander the AR platform. There's only a couple hundred deaths involving the AR platform. Do they use the advertising dollars to get the facts out? No, they use the dollars to beg for more of your dollars.

This is why we are losing the battle over gun control. You NRA haters are dividing gun owners. It's like if the NRA cured cancer and and wiped out all gun control in a single week you'd still bitch. There are still 5 million NRA members and if you guys keep bad mouthing them there will soon be only 2 million. Do you guys work for the gun lobby? If you not happy with them then get on the phone or write them some letters and let them know how you feel. They may not be perfect but they are still the largest gun lobby. When you bash them you are bashing the 5 million members that make up the NRA. I fully support the NRA, GOA, my local AZ organizations. None of them are perfect. We either stand together or fail. You guys constant bitching and whining will only divide us. I actually think that some of you work for the enemy and want the NRA to fail.

Actually the NRA is doing the splitting themselves. They alienate gun owners by not defending all firearms. They threw bump stocks under the bus quickly after the Vegas shooting. Yeah, a fad after market accessory, got it. They pick and choose, based of their fudds gun owners. But they don't win any cases. When was the last anti gun law that got overturned by the NRA fighting to get it done. Like I said in my post, they play both sides of the coin. The NRA knows what legislation is trying to be passed, yet they aren't in the states fighting against it, then they show up afterwards begging for money to try to overturn that law. LaPierre is getting your money and spending it on himself, trips, house renovations, 10,000 dollar " secretaries" and you are ok with this?

Says NRA has $412 million dollars (spent $423 million) in 2018. 5.5 million members.

Has $2.1 million spent $2.3 million 2 million members.

Has a budget of $4.8 million, 650k members.

Complain all you want about the NRA but politicians only fear money against them. Lets assume that every member only belongs to one organization, these 3 only represent about 8 million gun owners. Pick your favorite organization and support them, be active with them but don't knock them. We cannot win if we stay divided.

Love the NRA or hate them but no other gun organization comes close to the money and political firepower of the NRA. No one says the NRA is perfect (far from it) but we need them. If the NRA falls, the left wins a major victory.

The only gun organization I needed was the founding fathers. They did their part and left us the tools and the plan. Now we got to do our part. If you have to “organize” then organize your rounds into piles of 30

yeah out of the various pro-2a organizations, the only one we hear about is the NRA. if the anti's weren't afraid of the NRA, or if the NRA wasn't a thorn in the anti's side, they wouldn't be referring to the NRA as the enemy. but they do, a lot. so love 'em or hate 'em, we should help the NRA and at least do nothing to diminish them.

It's a Fact that people in the USA don't work for free. If you want good leadership you have to pay. How much free time have you all donated specifically to the safety and longevity to the 2nd Amendment. Sitting on your ass in your living room typing on the internet doesn't count.

First off, you dont know a thing about me. Second, if you want to make baseless assumptions (which you already have), you are the fool. And i will add, i’ve made no silly assumptions about you or anyone else. Third....if you think the folks running the nra are “good leadership”....well, that’s saying plenty right there.

I have done, and continue to do, plenty to protect gun rights. A helluva lot more effective things than sending money to the conmen at the nra. And as i’ve stated, no, i’m not going to try to qualify myself to the hoodwinked nra supporters here or anywhere else.

I stated above about all i have to say about the whole thing. As others have said, if you want to fund the nra’s con game, have it. But dont be running those of us who know what their game is down.

I’m getting tired of all these people who likely haven’t even served talking about what have you done. Even a army cook has done more for the second then the nra. I realize that is argumentative but bear with me.
lets“organize” everyone watching this forum into if you served...
Yes or no
And
For or against nra,

I’ll go 1st
Yes I served
I am against organizations like nra

I am against ALL lobby groups. I think Lobby'ing should be illegal to begin with. I do not support buying legislation at all.

I do not have any problems with the members of the NRA. The members have the same free will that any other American has. I do have a problem with the NRA assisting in writing and supporting ANY gun legislation.

I believe in the 2nd in its entirety. And any individual or lobby group that doesnt, is an enemy of the 2nd. It was written in its form for a reason. If individuals or lobby groups are not completely onboard with (shall not be infringed) and the fact that every gun law in existence is a direct violation on the 2nd cannot be trusted.
