Gotta love Magpul!

The biggest gripe people seem to take with the NRA is them negotiating. Now they are handing pout mags instead of negotiating to just reduce capacity, and people take issue with that.

You want to know why this country is going to hell. Peoples deductive reasoning skills are shit. Most cant play chess. Most cant think more than one step ahead. Most people wont study deep enough to understand the cause and effect of situations.

This thread reminds of people who claim Trump has done nothing because Hilary is free, and the wall isn't built.

The NRA should have figured out they would never be happy with just this or that. The same goes for the voters that have brought us here over the last 200 years.

The people that can't remember what they have done for us never cease to amaze me.
I don’t need anyone to charge money for something God already gave me. And if that guy made 1.1 million last year off of people paying “dues” that’s 1.1 million too much. You sound like a union man. That’s your choice.. but it’s my choice to tell those worse then politicians nra leaders were they can shove it. How many ar’s could 1.1 million buy?

You sure don't, but if they legislate it, the police will follow it, and the courts haven't stopped it in the past.

CEO's make money. You sound like a socialist.

"worse than politicians, where they can shove it." And you are more than welcome to virtue signal online about it all day. Or send them an E mail, but expect to start receiving funds raising e mails in return.

The NRA takes in hundreds of millions per year. 1.1 million. Go be poor somewhere else. ? ?

Assault weapons ban of 2013. If you mean during his administration. We lost a lot of ground at the state level during the Obama years also.
In Ohio we got more gun rights back during the Obama administration than this one. We can hunt with suppressors now. There's more rifles we are allowed to use and we dont really have any restrictions other than federal restrictions

The new Generation of Firearm enthusiasts have already gone lock stock and barrel for the GOA...the NRA is only being propped up by old die hard fudds at this point. The writing is on the wall and the new sheriff in town will be the GOA, they are aggressive and unrelenting and embody the no compromise spirit of the younger generation of gun owners. They are picking the battles that matter while the NRA is putting on a big show all for nothing.

and the many ranges that force you to be a member because their insurance is through the NRA.

Those are rules written by bureaucrats not laws that changed. They can just as easily be re-written.

I’ll be poor right were I am thank you. I’ll have my guns and magazines long after you’ve lost yours. I don’t have much but I’ve earned it all. I took a oath and I will not let unconstitutional laws be enforced in my ao. You accuse me of virtue signaling because I stand on higher principles than you? You call me socialist? Go suck some nra dick. How many mags could one buy if they didn’t get suckered into some ceo ponsi scheme? If someone wants to charge you money to ensure the sky is blue are you gonna give them money to? The only way to ensure our rights is by having guns and being ready to use them. Nra is not gonna save the 2nd. Trump isn’t gonna save the second. Lobby day isn’t gonna save the 2nd. At this rate only blood will save it.

“what have you guys done”

plenty. a helluva lot more than sending money to wanye and trusting (like a fool) that he’ll use it to protect gun rights, and not on new suits. and no, i am not going to list it for you.

i saw the light when the nra endorsed Ron Kind over a pro gun canidate back in the 90s.

you talk about the nra ensuring the 90’s assault weapons ban had a sunset clause........shit...those fucktards helped draft it and signed off on it.

fuck the nra, fuck wayne la pierre. and i am damn tempted to say “fuck the idiots who fund him”, but i know there are a lot of good hearted, well intentioned people out there that support the nra.....it’s just that they’ve been duped and refuse to pull their heads out of the sand- so i wont say “fuck them”. i do wish they’d quit playing “ostrich’’.

i especially wish they’d stop with the advocating for the nra. upside is more and more people are seeing it....hell, even hickok45 finally saw the light and woke the fuck up.

Part of what pisses me off is the intentions of guys like @supercorndogs . Here is a guy that wants to preserve rights, and is inarguably passionate about it. And fuckers like wayne and the crooked bastards at the nra are fleecing him blind....and laughing all the way to the bank.....after they stop by their multi million dollar private estates and clubs and shooting facilities that are open only to their select few.

Fuck them in the ass. Fuck them in the ass with a steel dildo wrapped in bard wire.

Compromising is losing bro. You on the NRA payroll tit or what? To compare the NRA of today to decades past is a stretch. What has Wayne done with my money in the last 5 years? Cause me to "lose" less rights than I would have without him? The amount they spend on bullshit trinkets and paid callers is astonishing. I've given them plenty over the years and now I don't feel like I'm getting my moneys worth. GOA it is.

I haven't gotten a call from them in a few years but I still remember the weekly calls like yesterday......Hi this is Joe Blow , I'm a paid caller with the NRA and I want your money. I at least need you to give me enough to pay my salary so I can call you again next week and ask for more. Give enough today and I'll send you some shitty China bullshit. That will ensure I'll be here for another call for more money next because Waynes dog shit on his alpaca rug and he needs a new one. Don't worry, we're working really hard for you to keep your flintlock muzzleloaders until at least 2025.

While you were giving your money away I was buying assault weapons. Then I went and got training on how to use them. Now I’m working on my Alamo and multiple other locations. Now I’m learning to be a machinist and already know to weld. Now I know where more private lathes are on old dirt roads then you could find in your state. Now I know more old veteran gunsmiths that are beyond give a fuck any more than snoop dog knows pot dealers. Now I know how to rifle barrels in a basement with a Home Depot shopping list.
What have you done? Who’s money spent makes more difference when the smoke clears? I already know the answer. your in denial.

I didn’t give any locations. There’s a lot of ground to cover up here. And that’s by no means all my secrets. I said nothing that the gov doesn’t already have filed away already. If you use a phone or internet these days you leave a very wide trail.

You cannot win by having a good defense. You must have a good offense.

I am getting tired of "not losing" this or that particular thing. I want to "win" (or at least eliminate) this or that particular thing.

Where are my "no NICS checks", "AP rounds", "suppressors", "bump stocks", "automatic weapons", "single page (or at least front and back side) 4473s", "open bolt semi-automatics", etc?

Yep, we lost those at the federal level and even worse things at the state level. I can remember when we had all of them. Please don't tell me I can still have them, if I live in the right state, complete the necessary forms, or pay the appropriate fees. We did not have to then, why do we have to now?

When I was an elected government official, I was adamantly opposed to fees for "administrative costs". If we did not have the "administrative requirement", we would not have an "administrative cost". No requirement = no cost. We don't need to buy a file cabinet to hold the forms - or pay an employee to file the forms, if we don't have the forms .

How come we can't win any of them back?

Are we to be content with just not losing more (or maybe not losing as much as they wanted to take, but still losing some)?

Compromise in the real world = You give. I give. We meet in the middle.

Compromise in the 2nd Amendment world = You give. I don't give. You lose less than what I wanted to take.

Politicly you have to loose something before you can go on offense. Therefore defense is the best strategy. Removing a law from the books is exceedingly difficult. Once its illegal we will be lucky if it becomes legal again. We had a chance to advance our agenda. Republicans with in the house and senate flushed it down the toilet.

And I prefer fewer roads.
my assets are were they matter. If y’all are to chickenshit to lock in load I’m not gonna come down there and do it for ya. I don’t have red flag laws or magazine restrictions here.

What has the nra done besides jump behind lawsuits that someone else has done the legwork on ?
Hell Aac has done more to get silencers our there than the nra has

Why haven’t they been on offense?
Constitutional Carry?
Cash and carry silencers?
Assault weapon ban repeals?

Nope instead we have more shit to wade through like red flags laws?
And Atf banning hunting bullets.
Made Barnes stop producing spritzer Solis’s. Where was the legality in that?

At the extreme peril of showing my ignorance, why in the word was that bullet banned? Was it because of the bands? Does that make it "magic?" Strictly education question here.

I give the NRA 0% credit for my natural right. If you want to lick balls, do so at your own pleasure. Please review history if you need a reminder of who you should be thanking for your 2nd amendment.

Ill help you out. (It aint a fuckin lobby group)

well fortunately I'm the type of guy that gives no fucks what you or anyone else thinks.

We all got lucky the 2nd was written the way it was. In fact, that it was written at all. Now those were some smart men.

It's fucks like you that condemn the people and groups that want what you want just because they aren't as extreme as you are.

Legally? I think they have no standing.

Why did ban them ? Because you can load them in a Magnum and shoot a living buffalo end to end. Or poke holes in things like steel bearcats snd other armored things

They would ban night vision /thermal/body armor etc if they could get away with it.

I didn't translate that written gibberish? You tell me what it meant. I took it to mean I have no idea how to do the things I am talking about.

"Now I know how to rifle barrels in my mom's basement with a Home Depot shopping list."

Some of your understanding of what is happening is too basic. I appreciate your mad and want to throw a fit though. I just hope people are smart enough to look into things on their own, and send money to some organizations. Because you are not going to one man army Alamo this thing straight.

BTW. Everyone at the Alamo was slaughtered.

And look into what the NRA is actually doing, vs what a bunch of uninformed loudmouths think they are doing. They take things to court, judges rule against the constitution. Democrats still control your state, legislation isn't getting passed.

Maybe GOA can show they care 10 rounds more, and give out the 40s.

Phosphor bronze Beryllium copper (among others) solid bullets are considered armor piercing and are called out by name as banned. Apparently, someone has decided that gilding metal is close enough to phosphor bronze one of the banned alloys and banned Barnes solids.

Alright super corny dog. I’ll take your olive branch. I’m a native Texan so I know a lot about the Alamo. Because I state things in simple terms doesn’t mean I only have a simple understanding. I actually have been following this game since 94 as my life experiences expanded my outlook. I actually choose to simplify on absolutes. As in this is a violation of the constitution so it is something that must be fought absolutely. You may still have patience for politicians but I no longer do. You may think it’s not yet time to use your guns but I know better. You choose to buy into nra. I choose to buy parts especially 5 special parts. I don’t know were your line in the sand is but I know were mine is. I don’t know what your capable of but I know what I am. I am not gonna leave issues like these for my kids to inherit. I’m not getting any younger. We all need to remind each other that we are on the same side. Perhaps you would consider some advice from someone who has a different outlook than you and next time you think of sending money to the nra, buy yourself a real lpk with 5 special parts while they are still legal and obtainable. Buy yourself a mil surp iotv vest while you still can. Find some ap rounds while you still can. Figure out how your gonna keep all your guns functioning. Buy spare parts. Buy books. Buy mre’s.

That was more in reference to "having multiple Alamo sights." Although, If I am making a battle plan, theirs is not one I would follow.
And I said a Alamo and multiple locations.. as in I have a place I can defend and make a stand, and I have multiple locations were I disappear to at the drop of a hat.

Anyhoo, Magpul is giving out a 1000 free magazines, or some such shit.
No were does it say that magpul is giving away mags. It does say that the nra is giving away 1000 mags to nra members. If I’m missing info I would love to confirm that magpul did give these but I have the impression nra bought then to hand out.

The NRA used a Sunday night tweet to explain that Magpul Industries — a renowned magazine and firearm accessory maker — sent 1,000 magazines to the gun rights organization in order to have them given out to pro-Second Amendment Virginians on Monday.

Sent in order to have them given out. Not saying purchased them from Magpul to have them given out. So.....

I’m not a lawyer, but I’m pretty sure a good one could show all of us where that statement does not say that the NRA did not purchase them. In fact it says nothing about the transaction, other than that Magpul was the manufacturer of the magazines.

A week ago, Target Sports sent me some ammunition.

The above statement is true. Based on the statement, was the ammunition free?

I re read it. Your right. It does imply magpul gave em. My only bone left to pick is magpul and/or nra decided to only give em to nra members.

So lets all keep bickering over my pro gun organization can kick your pro gin organization's ass. If you don't want to give to the NRA fine. If you think the NRA is the reincarnation of satan, fine. If you feel the NRA and Wayne are almost the second coming, great. We are all on the same side.

Or should we all just keep fighting while our rights are lost forever?

In the end 1000 free thorns are heading into good hands in Virginia. By whatever means, who cares...

Maybe you can even get a free 30rd mag from them also at completion of your service.

Back to regular scheduled topics...
The NRA has perfected the art of playing both sides. They love gun legislation. If there were no gun laws, then the ILA branch would'nt have a job.

And not challenging things like the NFA (Cause they know they would lose) its NOT an effective strategy. They only want to challenge easy pickings to justify the money they spend. How many laws are going to be passed that they wont challenge (Cause they know they wont win?)

They aren’t giving me any lunch.. it’s not free.. it was other misguided fools money. I’ve already bleed for the constitution and will do so again when the time is right. What are you doing to help? I suppose you want me to drop what I’m doing to support my family to come down there? But don’t bring any long guns? Because “we want to send the right message”. Do you need me to wipe your ass too? If someone like the nra or magpul really wanted to make a difference they could hand out LOADED mags wrapped in a ar 15. But what do I know? I was just a 11b only kicked in a few doors and ran roadblocks.

You 11B still eating crayons.....all love from your neighborhood 68W(medic if it changed after you got out)!!!!
