I recently had a problem with the gas tube/key/bcg on my DDM4 V5. It was cycling but I noticed what looked like abnormal wear around the opening of the gas key. Emailed CS and they sent a call tag the next day. Dropped the upper in the mail and it was returned to me good as new less than a week later. They replace the gas tube and the entire bcg. It was all warrantied of course and there were no charges whatsoever, they even pick up the shipping. They also stuck it in a new DD box with a couple of DD stickers. They followed up with a phone call to check that I got it and that I was satisfied. Thought I'd share my good experience with you guys.

This makes me happy. I have a DDM4 v7. I love it. It is my favorite 5.56. I recently had good customer service from Black Rain Ordinance. Good to hear these American companies taking good care of us on the back side of the sale.
Daniel Defense knows the meaning of CS albeit rare that you'll need it as they make a high quality rifle and the components that go into them in my experience with them over the years.
I had an issue with a 7.62 Lite rail a few years back and when I contacted them about the issue, you'd have thought that the earth stopped spinning until they could make it right. In <1wk, they had my problem-child rail in hand and I had a completely new rail in my hand with some freebies to boot and an apology for the problem and inconvenience. It didn't cost me a dime out of pocket when all was said and done.

Good to hear they are still top notch. I have one of the original m4's under serial 1000, Savannah ga marked with a non hammer forged barrel I got in 08. The charging handle latch pivot pin was drilled wrong and the latch wouldn't latch and would hit you in the nose on recoil. They next day'd me a new charging handle and the guy said if was ever in Savannah, ga to give him a call and he would give me a tour. Great company and I am contemplating a v7 lw from them for one of my next purchases.
