Hello my friends, my name is Ben and I’m active duty Navy stationed in CA. I've been wanting to get into precision shooting for awhile now and recently picked up a Remington 700 5R Gen 2 in 6.5 CM that I got a very good deal on. I'm very excited to learn from the veterans in this community and I appreciate any help I can get from you guys in the future.

Check out avenalgunclub.com, click on the calendar. We have a (mostly) monthly long range precision rifle match. If you want to get your skills built and make a ton of new friends, check it out. A few of us Hide-ers shoot there regularly. It's a few hours drive from almost anywhere people here live but it's a hoot. This is a hiking match, so bring good shoes, water and a snack. It's a 50 shot match.
