I ordered a Grendel mag the 4th of January. Make sure you read the big yellow box cause it does take a while for the to ship. Mine just shipped yesterday and is supposed to be here Tuesday.

Will these 6.5 grendel mags work in an AA built 6.5 grendel?

Purchased the gun and now trying to stock up on magazines. I ordered some from AA but wondering if these will fit their rifles.

6.5 Grendel mags are regular mags with a 6.5 Grendel specific follower, so yes, they'll work.

Were you able to get them to function? I couldn't get mine to work with .556 ammo because the distance between the feed lips is about .085" wider than a .556 USGI mag, and my rounds would not stay in, even with a .556 follower.

Grendel mags have different spec feed lips, I don't suspect they'll feed 5.56 too well, if at all.

The ASC stainless Grendel mags with the blue followers are great Grendel mags though. They are identical to the C Ind. (or whoever they used to work with).
