Suppressors Griffin Armament Spartan Suppressor?

Re: Griffin Armament Spartan Suppressor?

at only 26DB's of suppression there are better choices, albeit more expensive ..... but do you really want to spend 200 bucks on something that you may not be happy with in the future?

Re: Griffin Armament Spartan Suppressor?

What is a <span style="text-decoration: underline">beater can</span> ?

I have 8 suppressors and I can say I treat every one of them the same, so tell me what a <span style="font-style: italic">"Beater Can"</span> looks and acts like ?

Re: Griffin Armament Spartan Suppressor?

I said that wrong. All of my rifles/cans are pristeen and I hate taking stuff in the back of the ATV and what not. It seemed like an inexpesive way of having something I don't have to worry about scratching and what not if it gets beat around a little. Make sense?

Re: Griffin Armament Spartan Suppressor?

Ya, like mine do as well, what is the point. Do you buy your beater can based off price or based off the ability to take the punishment ?

Beater can implies you spend very little because if it fucks up its not a big deal, just toss it. My cans see thousands of rounds and hardly come off my rifles, why because they can take it.

I beat on everything I own, its called using it. Buying right gives you peace of mind. Short cuts just mean you'll buy twice.

True- suppressor covers are a good deal. They also can prevent burns during transitions, and will hold up to reasonable use (but will melt under abusive use).

We are sold out of Spartans as of last week.

We have replaced the model with the Spartan II which is a 1.5"x6.2" silencer that weighs 18 ounces. The new silencer is a good sound performer, and we have sent them to Silencer research for independent testing. We'll also be metering the production cans soon when we can get out and spend a day testing them ourselves.

The original spartans were a little larger and louder and we updated the line and closed them out. We designed those three years ago, and our current designs are more sophisticated- offering better performance, shorter length, and more pleasing aesthetics in a shorter slimmer unit for $325. The M4-SD TM is 5" long and performs a little better than the original 7.25" Spartans in a much smaller 15 ounce unit.

If anyone wants to watch the video of the new thread mounts they can visit our youtube account through the youtube button at the bottom of our main page, or simply by clicking play here:
