It is for their over the barrel suppressor. 30cal 5/8x25 here is what it say on their site:
Host Firearm Barrel Requirements : 1.95" rear of the thread shoulder needs to be .775" OD or smaller in order to provide clearance for interfacing. The tool used to cut this step if applicable should have a .016" corner radius or smaller, or the corner radius should be compensated for by adding length to the 1.95" step.
