I have small hands and the mpa grip is just a little awkward to get the proper 90* pull needed. This weekend i am going to het to work with the dremel and some epoxy and see can i get it to fit me better. Was thinking about spraying it with some flex seal afterwards or maybe some plasticoat
Will post up some pics when going through the process. What say you folks??

when i used to shoot Trap it was not uncommon to for competitors to apply Bondo Dura Glass, the automotive body work compound with fiberglass, to build up the grip. The Bondo is very inexpensive. Some preferred Devcon epoxy.

Saw a lot of examples that looked really nice, they would paint it, looked factory ...others not so much.

At the end of the day it was the quality of the fit that ruled the day

i thought about doing the same to my rifle but chickened out, I ended up using a Sorbothane pad that had an adhesive backing on it. It's been a while now and still holding up but i wish it were thicker. I did clean the heck out of the grip, degreased it and then used a heating gun to warm both the grip and the Sorbothane and wrapped it overnight with an ace bandage.

Will see hopefully epoxy will bond to the grip. If not i will have to drill it and add some post to hold it to it

Some two part putty stuff i had from a project before. Will get the name and post it in a bit.
comes in a tube

sprayed it with 2 cotes of plasti dip after it hardened

Thats weird I thought you were going to add the flex seal to your finger and make it longer.

Guess this works too.

Here is what i used. Cures pretty quick but plenty of working time. And i mean plenty. Used some spit on the finger to slick it off and remove them fingerprints

That looks great! I have used quick wood to similar affect on grips, but they don’t look nearly as well as yours.
