Hey guys just received this knife in the mail yesterday. Sheath was also included and has a kydex liner for the knife. Also has MOLLE/PALS type back strap. I also put a Ka-Bar next to it for lenth comparison and blade thickness comparison.

Re: Ground Pounder Knife

The maker is Grayman Knives. This info was taken from the direct from their website. Here's the link. http://www.graymanknives.com/gp.html

"The GRAYMAN POUNDERS were designed to be light enough for field carry, strong enough for hard use. The edge is straight for easy sharpening on the go. The full tang has a lanyard hole and a flat butt that can take a pounding. The blades are double bevel, flat ground for max blade strength, made from tough 1095 High Carbon 1/4" thick steel. No frills, just time tested materials and solid design for no-nonsense deployment. The Ground Pounder is 1.5" x 11.5" overall, the blade is 6"."

Re: Ground Pounder Knife

I took a grayman knife to iraq with me. They are a hunk of metal and a great tool. Nothing fancy just a down and dirty knife and a good price. Enjoy your knife... i know i love mine and probably will order another one if not a few more....

Re: Ground Pounder Knife

I've read articles about them/him. No frills, a knife you can beat to death only it will not die. In a time where you can find $250 folders these things kick ass.

I haven't dropped the coin for one yet but will in the future.
