Several years ago there was a black yout that tried to kidnap and rape two white women. The yout had a history of violence and bullying in a private school but his father gave a lot of money to the school. So punishment never occurred.

It wasn’t until he hit another kid in the twins that the school expelled him. The yout became someone else’s problem.

Well my father was principal when I was in junior high, so if I messed up, which I did, I got it twice. Deserved it too! They had maple or black walnut paddle boards. and we got hacks in school, all the way from grade school through high school. PE instructor /coach even had one with OUCH routered in reverse in the paddle so if you got squared up, your classmates would have something to laugh at in the shower after gym class.

I Used to have a really smart mouth. I still do, but try to mutter under my breath. Too old to get my ass kicked. However, sadly, since I am partially deaf, sometimes it is more than a mutter.
