I called Grovetec to get the scoop on their flush cups. I was told that they are not on their website individually but only when paired with the swivel itself. You have to order part #720251 for the price of $1.50 ea. I was asked how many I wanted and I responded "about a dozen". She said to add about $3.00 for shipping. Then I was told to do something that I haven't done in over a decade...send a check in the mail for the order! I ordered 15 and included $5 for shipping. You need to send the check to the PO Box listed on their website. I really only needed 2 or 3 and know that I will never use all of them but they will be here when my friends need them.

The lady I spoke to was very nice and confirmed what I had heard on the net somewhere. She said that "a lot" of the people at Grovtec were former Uncle Mike's employees before he went to the "darkside" and farmed out his shit to China.

I hope that I contributed something with some substance on my 2nd post.

I did the same thing, I bought a couple dozen of them, probably enough for four lifetimes. They seem to be very high quality.

Re: Grovtec flush cups

I can testify to the same, I made the mistake of buying Uncle Mike's SHIT, out of the two set's I bought, I could only get one of the four to go in the cup. And it pulled out with modest hand pressure. I called UM CS, and to my surprise, I was talking to Bushnell CS (not so much a surprise after all) They basically acknowledged that their product was substandard chinese shit, and that I should send them back to Brownells.
Called Grovetec, and for pretty much the same price, I got made in USA perfect flushcups. Worked flawlessly and have ever since. Couldn't recommend a company more highly.

Re: Grovtec flush cups

My experience was very similar. I bought the swivels from somewhere (can't remember exactly) and wanted a few more cups to install wherever. I called Grovtec and talked with some gentleman and asked for just the cups and how much. He asked me for my address and sent half a dozen in an envelope. I was flabbergasted when my attempts to pay for the cups/postage were declined.

The heavy duty swivels and threaded cups can easily hold 90+ pounds each too. I know, I tested them.

Fantastic service and product in an age where cutting corners and outsourcing to 3rd-world countries is the norm. I applaud Grovtec.

Re: Grovtec flush cups

Grovetec is winning, they are good people. Their hardware is the best there is, IMHO.

I do appreciate the part number, that is how new guys get to be taken seriously! You sir, are a gentleman and scholar.

I was pretty excited to see grovetec sling swivels (regular stud type) in the hunting gear isle at my local tractor store. They are all gone now, but I hope they restock them. MUCH nicer than the UM garbage, even the QD cup thing was knurled metal.

It appears that they are the same ones only considerably more expensive

Re: Grovtec flush cups

They are the same ones. Grove tech tells me that they only sell loose bushings to OEM customers that install them and sell a stock or rifle to a customer. They will only sell them to me packaged and with instructions, for legal reasons they tell me. Drives the price up as you might imagine.
