Gun ranges with rentals in KC area

Daughter is going to be wedding dress shopping with the wife in KC. I’m wanting to take my future son in law to a range and try on some guns. We live in OK so not too familiar with the area. Any suggestions?

I have a suggestion, call before you go to rent a gun. I know The Bullet Hole used to not rent guns to first time shooters. There had been a few instances of first time shooters renting a gun, then committing suicide on the range. I do not know what their current policy is, nor do I know if any other ranges have the same policy.

Another vote for Frontier Justice. Hit the one behind Cabela’s, there’s lots of places to eat close by plus theirs a Hollywood Casino next to the Kansas race track if you want a drink and do a little gambling. Have fun!

Last I knew The Bullet Hole still had this policy, but it has been a few years.

They have had several suicides there.

Do all of the Frontier Justice locations have ranges and rentals?

I believe Centerfire, in Olathe, also does rentals.
