Gun room/ Armory ideas and construction.

Well, long story short I've always wanted a gun room since I was a little kid and now I have the money to do so.

I'd like to keep it dry, clean looking(white or grey walls), and organized. Guns mounted on the walls, shelves to put my ammo, the whole nine yards. What kind of moisture problems am I looking at?

I'm shooting for 15ftx15ft, so any ideas on how to organize the guns? I've got normal modern day small arms, and a lot of them. This may sound a little odd, but it's just one of those things on my list to complete before I die. What would be the best way to go about making the safe door... well, safe. I don't want anyone to get locked inside, are there double sided doors with one not requiring a combination? I'd like it to look like the armories in Boondock saints, and pretty much any action movie. Conventional safes just aren't big enough anymore.

Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.

Rebar reinforced poured concrete walls, floor & ceiling. Buy a commercial safe door assembly (most gunsafe makers sell them). Hide it behind a steel core double deadbolt wood exterior door. Interior equipped with pepperspray dispenser and exterior (outside) horn and light alarm. All guns should be kept in Boyt intercept technology gun cases.

Where do you live exactly? I'll stop by some day and let you know what I think.

This is going to be a lowbrow job, not a lot of contractors actually used, just ideas from here. Broacasting this kind of thing usually isn't what I'd do, but I've always wanted one of these, and safes just aren't cutting it nowadays.

EDIT: Thanks though! Just not sure I'd like anyone but close personal friends to know where the room is going to be, just seems like an odd idea.

My thoughts exactly.
