There was a shooting range under my elementary school where we all took hunter safety (boys/girls/everybody). I think I was in 3rd or 4th grade. We have became pussified as a society.

We still teach hunter ed at schools. No live fire on the playground though.

In fact, OK has a law permitting hunter ed instructors to bring real guns on school campuses for teaching purposes.

Also OK is still the reddest state in the union. Yeah us.
