Anyone ever check out this site? is it legit or some kind of scam? I registered to check it out a little more but haven't received an email to set up an account. The general info doesn't give if the auctions are a reserve or not, I know you have to pay to bid. One of the guns listed had paypal as on option, seems sketchy.

It works like any penny auction site. You buy bids, usually .60 a piece, then you bid on anything. Every time you bid it adds a penny or two to the price of the item. So often the winner gets a smoking deal, every one else just paid with their used bids. Consider an $800 pistol. If it sells for $150.00, the winner got a sweet deal. The site made a killing though because the 15000 bids it took to get to the final price times .60 each makes $9000.

Sites like it can be a great deal, and they win by preying on the same feelings that slot machines do, "it's just a penny for me to win".
