The gun stores in my immediate area do not know of any decent gunsmiths and I am looking for one. I also would be happy to find a mentor if there is one for primarily AR-10's and 15's. I have a Haas VF4 and a TL2 so equipment is not a problem but expertise with AR's is. It would be nice to not have to make bone headed mistakes on things just because I am not familiar with the little tricks that go with every different machining topic. I can cut all kinds of parts for food service and make things for speakers but never tried my hand at working on my own guns. Finally getting to the point where I want to.
