Guys I have a Ruger M77, tang safety, in .243 that I am wanting to have rebarreled and the action trued. The local guys that I go to are strictly remington or custom action guys.

Tripple G gunsmithing, Stephenville, Shumaker Gunworks, Stephenville. Both are great smiths, Garland has several years on Mike, but both are good. There are tons in DFW but these are about an hour outside

Garland can have you done in about 2 weeks, Mike has seemed really busy last few times I was home so he might take a little longer

+1 on Triple G, if you have the parts your gun is out the door quick and its done right. And its done meticulously precise.
If you need to order a barrel it takes a little longer, but thats the biggest holdup you'll have.
