Gunsmithing Quick Turnaround

Have my first big 2 day match in September. Does anyone know a gunsmith that can switch out my barrel and install a new bolt action by then. I have a Bergara LRP. It has a Gen 1 XLR chassis and its chambered in 6.5cm?

Appreciate any help. I'm located in Maryland but will ship it anywhere.

Walcroft customs in Nebraska is pretty quick. Another is keystone accuracy. He turned a barrel around for me same day last year

@Deep South Tactical had a 7 day rifle deal running on here under commercial sales. Not sure about the pricing but the 7 day turnaround may still be in play. Might check out the 7 day rifle website. They turned out a pair of 338 Norma’s for us that shoot lights-out.

LRI - push for an accurate lead time, they should be able to do it pretty quick.


I have others I like too and they are usually longer on lead times than you need.

Key is can they deliver in time for you to break it in and dial a load up.
All of the folks I listed have made barrels I have been able to shoot under 1/2” 5 shot groups.

Brian Allen Ateam precision has turned around several barrels for a guy I know in about a weeks time, they all shoot well. The bergara has a coned nose which is a bit of a p, but shouldn't add much time. These were customer supplied blanks.
