I bought a 700 SPS Tactical a few years ago from a local gun dealer. This particular gun had been customized by the previous owner getting a trigger job and upgraded stock. When i purchased the gun the shop told me about the upgrades but now i cannot remember the make on the stock (gun shop doesn't either).
Without taking the stock off the gun as it is currently sighted in, is there any way i can determine the make of the stock...possibly by shape/style? I cannot find any manufacturer markings, but the gun was dipped blocking any markings that might have been there.
