H1000 and 338LM loads for both 300gr and 250gr Berger along with 285gr Hornady ELD-M

Looking for pet loads for the above in a Savage 110FCP.

I have the same rifle and mine likes 2 loads

load 1

lapua brass
215 M primers
H1000 powder @ 92.0 gr
hornady 285 gr bthp
coal just fit in AI mags

this load shoots 1/2" moa

my most used load is

lapua brass
215 M. Primers
Retumbo @ 94.6 gr
nosler custom comp 300 grain bullet
coal just fit in AI mags

this loads shoot 1/2" moa also and is a little hotter and flater shooting using 8.9 mil's to 1200 yards

88.0 grains H1000 with a 300 grain Berger Elite Hunter and a Fed 215 works well for .3 MOA in fireformed Lapua cases.

Although it's not H1000, 98.0 grains of RL33 and a CCI 250 works well with a 285 ELD M also in fireformed Lapua cases. This one produced a .4 MOA four shot group at 340 yards from a cold clean bore.

Any of the listed loads for Hornady 285s will give you a good idea, as the ELDs shouldn't be far off. Of course as always, start 10% lower and work your way up to look for pressure signs.

I'm at the NRA show right now and can't remember my exact load and don't want to misquote. If I remember when I get back, I'll post one up.

edit: so I went back to the thread I linked above and reminded myself where I was with that load.

Savage 110 FCP, bedded with 26" barrel
Lapua brass
Winchester WLRM primers
Hornady 285g HPBT
less than mag length
91.5g H1000
2780 fps
bugholes

AVG FPS = 2814
C.O.A.L 3.785 Just fits in AI-PSR mag
Just re-zeroed this load and got .447 avg over 3 groups of 5 rounds and have shot out over 1800 yards.
