Pretty most of our custom rifle builders have a 3/8 or 1/2 minute guarantee on their builds. Just curious if anyone ever had to send their rifles back to the builder because it didn't perform as promised. What kind of conditions are put on the shooter to validate the guarantee?
Our local gunsmith sends out a test target to prove the gun shoots 1/2 MOA.
Personally I have had 3 custom builds from a well known shop, two performed easily, the third was close but didn't feel it was worth the trouble to return. Besides it was a 7WSM which was used at 1K and beyond and I was happy with the results at distance.
