Handled several rifles at the gun show

I'm looking to buy my first precision rifle and went to the local gun show to check out several of the alternatives. I was able to handle the following:

Remington 700P
Remington 700P LTR
Remington 700 SPS Tactical

No other HB bolt action rifles in 308 were there.

I was only able to handle them offhand. The 700P felt solid but barrel heavy. I guess this doesn't really matter with a bipod. The palm swell on the grip was oversized.

The 700P LTR felt more balanced offhand and significantly lighter compared to the 700P.

The parkerizing on the 700P is fairly rough to the feel.

The Remington SPS Tactical weighed significantly more than the 700P LTR but also felt balanced. It didn't feel barrel heavy like the 700P.

Since I'm looking for both a hunting and target rifle, the LTR looks to be in 1st place right now. I still want to handle a Savage 10PC before making my final decision. But, I don't know if that is possible. No one seems to have one in stock. The closest is a Savage 10FCP at Dicks. But, the stock on it doesn't come close to comparing to the stock on the 700 LTR.

The search goes on.
