I have a Pelican 1750 that is about 1 1/2" too short for my Savage 110 BA 300WM. I need about 51" plus, inside. Any advise? I'd like a hard case if it's not crazy expensive.

First I just placed my in the pelican case, corner to corner even with a scope it fit... But eventually went with a quality throw bag instead!

I have my Savage 110 BA .338 in a Pelican 1750. I cut the foam such that the butt pad touches the case but it leaves enough foam to protect the brake on the other end. But you're right, it's a tight squeeze...
