Hardcore Hardware Steel Make-up

Hey guys, saw somebody asking what these knives and tomahawks were made out of. The answer is high chromium and carbon tool=grade steel. In the US we call it D2-1. Here is the chemical formula if anyone wants to do some studying on metallurgy.

CHROMIUM: 12%
CARBON: 1.55%
MANGANESE: 0.6%
MOLYBDENUM: 1.0%
NITROGEN: 0.3%
NICKEL: 0.3%
SILICON: 0.6%
VANADIUM: 1.0%
