I know there are many options. Mounting to a picatinny rail, already have one setup with a Badger low profile mount which I really like as it replaced all the factory swivel connection plate and hardware. Really clean set up.

Looking for a QD setup now and see Area 419 Arca has one, as well as Really Right Stuff. Also see Larue and ADM offer QD mounting options. Any others I am missing? Would appreciate any insight and thanks in advance.

I used the LaRue QD bipod mount and frankly it's inferior to the ADM mount. The LaRue will mar and deform your rail, I ran into this issue head on once during a match when I tried to mount the bipod farther back on the handguard. It was adjusted for its usual position up front but when I tried to mount it farther back where the rail was pretty much untouched, it was too tight and the lever wouldn't lock in place. If I had adjusted the tension for that position it would've been too loose up front and there was no happy middle ground. I shit canned that mount and bought an ADM mount the following week. Just in case the question comes up, the handguard was a LaRue 11.0 so it's doubtful I was experiencing tolerance issues from one end of the rail to the other, the LaRue lever was just fucking up the rail.

The ADM mount on the other hand clamps differently and with more contact so it doesn't deform the rail and it can be adjusted on the fly without any tools. I haven't used the other products so I can't speak to their qualities but I like my ADM mount.

I have an ADM. it locks up tight and never slides on the picatinny. As stated above, also doesn’t mar the rail.
Also have one with an RRS - this one doesn’t seem to be quite as stable for me. However, it has the advantage of being fully usable on both a dovetail and a pic rail. So if you need both, or have one bipod for multiple platforms, this may be a consideration.

To clarify, the RRS locks up on the rail just as tight, I’m not satisfied with how the center pivot has some wobble on the shaft of the Harris bipod. I can get it to lock down, but really have to crank down the locking lever. I’m scared it may break, so I don’t use this one for matches.

I talked with a friend yesterday that works at Harris. He said they are working on some new mounts for various rails. Here’s hoping Harris upgrades their offerings and makes pic, dovetail, and combo mounts a factory option. Probably sometime next year.

Larue also make this - Harris Bipod BRM-S and LT706 QD Swivel Mount Combo

Hey all,
After being prodded by some folks, we've attacked the problem of bipods. Here's the result. What we did is designed and machined a new built-in LT mount ... we cannibalize a Harris BRM-S ... merge it all together and VOILA' ... glorious bipod goodness. It tilts left and right, it's lighter by several ounces than the original, it's got our LT-QD stuff on it. It's easy to put on and take off. It's spine is a Harris. It's all good.

Hope it's to your liking, they are already in-the-field. ;-)

Got my ADM today and really like it, may even set my other Harris up same way. What I really like is it’s small foot print. I’ve got 3 slot pic rails on my SBR’s and it fits perfectly.
