Has any use Leupold Mark AR MOD 1 1.5-4x20mm SPR on there M1A

Just read this article on Gun Truth about using the Leupold Mark AR MOD 1 1.5-4x20mm SPR on the M1A. Price is great compared to the 1000 dollar Trijcon. But an AR scope on an M1A. Has anyone tried this? Just want it for 200 yards. Getting old and iron sights hard to see.

Could you post the link to the article if it is on the Internet?

At 200 yards seems like reflex or red dot would also work for your purpose.

If someone does, let me know how it works for you. I am using an old ART-IV. Works okay and didn't cost much either.
