Has anyone heard of the Saritch 308?

I was looking around on wiki for different bullpups and came accros the Saritch 308. There wasn't any pictures of the weapons on wiki so I searched the weapon on google and came accross this.
Is it real? It looks like a toy...Wow that is a huge link.

Does look like a cross between the FS2000 and the Kel Tec RFB

yes yes fn.. my apoligies.. i fired that one day, was not liking the shells coming out the front.. during a mag change had some shells roll out... stopped me dead in my tracks..thought they wer elive rounds falling out of the mag... haha

Saritch = Buzzard in Russian. I think it's Cyrillic or Russian = CAPblY (roughly those letters).

It's supposedly uses an action like the TKB (Russian bullpup made in the 1960s, best barrel length to Overall weapon length).

It's also supposedly to be modular, like the XM8 is, with several variants.

It was going to be tested in late 2010 but all news has stopped appearing on it, so either it ran out of funding or went into secret production.

Also why would a Russian Arms developer choose .308? Maybe a rimmed 7.62x54R won't work in that TKB action? Or Maybe they want to use it for an export product to NATO countries?
