Has anyone machined a MDT ACC Elite Chassis?

Has anyone machined a MDT ACC Elite chassis to fit LeftHhand T3X yet?

MDT only carries the ACC Elite in right hand so I was half way debating trying to find a way to machine it to be ambidextrous.

I don’t think this title is going to get you many clicks.

I would change the title to more of a question asking if anyone has machined an MDT elite. Might get more responses.

Not one of those but I did my Mdt Xrs for my t1x. Got it from black friday 2022. Used my Foredom (better than dremel).

After. Covered aluminum with some black nail polish. Too many layers.

Shouldnt be hard, all of the MPA chassis are ambidextrious. Check out a good local machinist to get it worked on.

Might want to ask MPA if the could do it. When I ordered my MPA Matrix Pro they only had it in right hand at the time. They made the stock left and right hand so it would work for me.

Yeah, I emailed MDT about a left-handed option and they said they didn’t have those. I would assume if they could have machined it they would’ve told me.

I’ll see if I can find a local shop that can do good work before I try to do it myself.

Sorry for the late reply, but I did it on a regular ACC with a Dremel and some files. Lay the action in without the trigger group so you can mark the cuts.

For the safety/trigger relief cut, get the dremel router attachment so you can adjust the depth of the cuts. The top edge of the chassis is enough for stability (nobody will see this relief area, except for you).

For the bolt relief, I started the vertical cuts with the dremel. The bottom angle area was started with a dremel then finished with files.

Edit to change techniques.
