I know they are cheap and everyone says you get what you pay for and only cry once. But I've been layed off since march and cash flow is nun and had a scope lay down on me on one of my .308's and some of these Hawke scopes sound good and are resonably priced. Has anyone used one? There is a review on snipercentral.com ( http://www.snipercentral.com/hawke416.htm )about them and they talked like they ran pretty good. Whats the views. I'm wanting something around 4-16X44 with a mildot.

The Hawke Sidewinder Tactical 4-16x42MM has my eye right now. I have been reading up on these for a while now, and I am going to give them a serious look.
I had been using an Explore Optics, and I really like them. I had a dealer "buddy" of mine decide to not honor a quoted price, so I am having a bit of a issue. With that said, I am now looking elsewhere for a new scope. SWFA has these for about the same price as everyone else, but SWFA customer service ROCKS!!
