Hawkins and PTG bottom metal

I bought a stock inletted for Hawkins bottom metal but don't have one here will the PTG work in that opening ? The PTG metal I have here drops in but seems to be low in the inlet ? Has anyone mixed the two or are they totally different ?

I have been able to use the 2 interchangeably in the past.

It bolts together and the mag looks the right height just dont have the gun finish to cycle rounds . Just sitting low in the inlet had me wondering .

The Hawkins is light years ahead in refinement if that matters.
Nicer mag release. Radiused edges.

PTG works just fine though if you have one.
