Hawkins DBM / MDT Mag Fitment

I’ve got an ARC CDG in a Manners LRH mini chassis, Hawkins CIP length M5 DBM, and my MDT 300 PRC mag won’t latch.

I know, obviously I need to adjust something, but what is easiest? Chassis, bottom metal, mag?

Not sure if the Long action is the same as the Short, but you may need to shorten your mag latch to get them to go.

If you hold the mag in, does everything feed well?

If so, Use some dry erase marker on the mag's catch then put it in. Take it out and see how much you need to take off the latch.

The above is the correct answer, but you should check with Hawkins to see if they offer a shorter mag catch release. MDT and KRG both sent me the part I needed just for asking. Both were short actions. I too don't know if the same applies to long actions.
