Advanced Marksmanship Head/ scope cover to fight glare?

While shooting this evening, I was getting the setting sun coming in hard onto my shooting eye. I grabbed a spare sweat shirt and used it for a makeshift hood to block it out. Wow, what a difference! What is a more appropriate "cover" to use?

I use ether a boonie hat or a Shemagh.

what ever works, old t-shirt, hat, sniper vale, goto walmart and buy a yard of camo cloth...

Orient your target so you're shooting North. If that's not possible where you shoot, you're shooting in the wrong place.

I always wear a booney or a regular base ball hat. Whatever is available at the time is what works best.

Wide-brimmed boonie works for me. I have the same problem at a place I shoot in evenings.

Baseball cap for me. I put the bill over the rear of the toob close enough to meet my eye relief point, never had a problem with that. If all else fails like others have said, drape a old t shirt over ya or something.

this is perzakly why you see all them shemagh draped about the salty......just for times like that.....
