Man thats some twisters. One newscaster said it looked like they were everywhere when looking at the whole US at one time on radar.
I bet the 11 pm news is loaded tonight.

they estimated that the tornado that went through birmingham was a mile wide. early reports estimated it at f5 strength in tuscaloosa and about half a mile wide. then it traveled north east to birmingham while growing in size. the said it never left the ground as it traveled over 50 miles.luckily a lot of that area between was rural, but the cities it hit were devastated. lots of families without homes all over the south.

Just food for thought. I remember learning somewhere that the last great ice age was brought about by a tilting of the earth's axes by a fraction of a degree. The cause was a massive volcano that erupted. If you recall that the earthquake that hit Japan shifted the earth's axes as well. So get ready to see more crazy weather. Who knows if there are anymore massive earthquakes we can be in for a real rollercoster of events.
Kinda brings back the thought of Mayan prophecy (if you believe in that stuff). They believed that the earth went through a series of catastrophic events in order to creat a more perfect world.
The first being fire, second ice, the third and last one was a great flood (this is also shared with Biblical stories also). We are supposedly to be entering the forth event, and this one is suppose to be brought about through earthquake......only time will tell
