Sports generate revenue due to viewers. Historically, WNBA etc do not produce the revenue stream to justify the payment.

The revenue they bring is a drop in the bucket compared to professional sports teams.

If you have any doubts, compare the average (not media) person's interest in a soccer playing country between the regular world cup and the women's edition. As well as on regular matches how many tickets are sold for women's matches vs. standard matches. The numbers speak for themselves.
Comparatively few people (as compared to other popular professional sports) in the USA cared about that team before the media reported how great they were doing and when they are done, after a month or two interest in them will be back to what it was before.

That is true. LeBron James definitely should get paid more because his market is bigger. But the argument with the USWNT is that they get paid LESS than the mens team but they are World Champions AND their matches bring in more revenue.

When you have differing opinions, especially of a political or religious nature, no amount of links/documents would suffice to support either opinion as fact to the opposing party. If you are a conservative and you post supportive do I mention from a conservative source, the liberal position will dismiss it. Same goes the other way. If a liberal posts supporting documentation from a liberal source, the conservative side will dismiss it. So it’s pointless to try to take an opinion and make the opposing parties take your opinion to be a fact.
