Good morning all, my name is Thomas (Tom, or Tommy also, depending on who you ask), I’m new to this site from Aurora Colorado. I have been browsing here for a while and now that I’m enrolled in a Basic Precision Rifle course I decided to finally start an account and join the community. I am NEW to Precision Rifle as I’ve only ever shot rifles to about 100 yards before this, so this should be a new and enjoyable experience for me. I “think” I know what I want for the course but I won’t be buying the rifle I plan to use until the end of January. Figure the site will be a great tool to research and look for ideas and hopefully also find something my wife may enjoy to shoot as well.
My avatar picture is actually due to my job, I “drive” freight trains from Denver to Cheyenne, Sterling, and Trinidad. Everything from moving cars in the yard, to the 17,000 ton Coal Loads as seen there.
“Home” for me, however, is Marquette in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Mostly in Colorado due to the Job and Wife’s Parents
