I just put some cash down on my first custom bolt gun that my local gunsmith is building. I'm hoping that some of you fine folks here can point me in the direction of some good reads on the mils system. I want to be very proficient in 2-4 months when my rifle is ready.
For those interested, It's going to be a .308 on a Savage benchrest action, Choate stock, mag fed, 18" threaded barrel, and 10x42 SWFA SS scope.
