So im new on the site here, but it has popped up plenty of times when ive been trying to find info on certain rounds I have been using so figured its time to become a member. Gotta say, super stoked on the wealth of knowledge found just doing some quick browsing on here. Primarily i have been doing some light local 3-gun stuff and really got into the long range game and handloads after shooting with a buddy that had a beautiful rem7 vtr. Couldn't believe some of the shots he was making until he started showing me the details on the loads and how everything played into the effect on the round. Hello strelok haha. Ever since then I have been spending my free time reading up on everything I can and buying ammo strictly in 20rd boxes to see how far different rounds can be pushed. Most of my rifle playing has been done on AR platforms and my trusty 30-06 in season, but decided to branch out and picked up the newer Howa 1500 action in .308.
