Just wanted to say hello. I decided that long range shooting is what I wanted to get into and this forum was recommended to me. For the last 17 years I have been an AF Combat Arms instructor teaching small arms to people. Mainly M16/M4 and handgun with a smattering of machine gun up to M2/Mk19. I do more CQB training that anything and frankly Id like to branch out. I was given a Stevens 200 in 308 as a Bday present a few weeks ago which kinda sparked my interest in seeing what I can do with it.

I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the Stevens. It has a few flaws but there are guys achieving great results with a little tweaking- namely replacing the stock.

Welcome and congratulations on the Stevens. Worst thing about that Stevens is that you will probably be challenged shooting up to its potential.
