) I havent been throught Houghton in a while. Used to spend summers with the grandparents in Trout Creek and Bruce Crossings.

No, no snow yet, they were calling for rain / snow mix last night, but didn't happen...we're due though. Average first measurable snow is October 18.
Everyone's expecting a heavy snow total this winter, the lake's extremely warm, so lots of Lake Effect snow is expected...gonna be along time till spring!
