Hello, ladies and gentlemen.

I've been lurking here for a little over a year searching out whatever it was I wanted to know until recently. A recent Ruger RPR acquisition has prompted me to finally register as I can see possible questions coming up in the future.

I'm not new to firearms or reloading but have been absorbed in milsurps for the last number of years. Back in the late 90's is when I last shot anything resembling precision when Remington actions, Robar rifles, and McMillian stocks were the best game in town. A gentle nudge nudge from my best friend and a longing desire to put a distance capable rifle back into my hands led me to the Ruger and I'm excited to begin work with it.

I hope to learn here and judging from the amount of info already here I'm not sure I'll offer much. But regardless, thanks for the approval and I hope to be of some sort of positive asset to the board.

Good day, everyone.

Even if you think you don’t have anything to offer, there is a good chance you still know more than younger guys like myself. You have effectively been shooting and reloading since I was in kindergarten. I count that as knowledge that can be useful.
