OK, this is my first post, first build and this is what I have. Winchester Model 70 in 300 WM from 1988 push feed action with a Hogue full length aluminum bed varmint stock, Leupold VX-II 3x9x40 and Harris bipod. Being new to long range shooting I want to shoot out to 600-800 yards. I reload so bullet selection is not a issue. So my question is where is a good starting point from here to improve accuracy from a rifle standpoint and what is an overall good starting point for redoading. not interested in reinventing the wheel, just making mine better. Also if a barrel change is in my future is there a better cartridge like 7mm Rem Mag?
